    What is AlwaysReady Care?

    AlwaysReady Care is a simple tool that helps care homes record and organise evidence of the care they provide. It keeps all your records in one place so you are always ready if CQC comes to inspect. Everything runs in your browser and your data stays private.

    Quick Start

    1. Sign in — Use your email, Google account, or try as a guest to explore.
    2. Record evidence — Go to "Record Evidence" and use a template to quickly document care activities like medication, personal care, or meals.
    3. Get it reviewed — Seniors and managers review evidence. Only approved records count towards your compliance score.
    4. Stay ready — Check your Compliance dashboard to see your readiness score, spot gaps, and generate inspection packs when needed.

    You can record text notes, photo evidence, and incident reports. Audio recording is coming soon. Each type has pre-written templates to help you get started quickly.
    Templates are pre-written forms for common care activities like giving medication, personal care, meals, activities, and incidents. Tap "Choose a template" when recording evidence and it fills in the structure for you. Just replace the placeholder text with the real details.
    Seniors, managers, directors, and admins can review evidence. Carers can record evidence but cannot approve it. This two-step process ensures quality and accountability.
    The compliance score shows the percentage of CQC evidence categories that have at least one record in the last 30 days. A score of 100% means every category (medication, personal care, nutrition, etc.) has recent evidence. Gaps are highlighted so you know what to focus on.
    An inspection pack is a downloadable report containing all approved evidence for a chosen date range. You can filter by evidence type. It produces a formatted HTML document you can print or share with inspectors.
    Yes. Your data is stored securely in Firebase with access restricted to your organisation. Each care home has its own isolated data. We do not share your information with anyone.
    Yes, AlwaysReady Care is fully mobile-responsive. You can record evidence, take photos, and review submissions from any phone or tablet. Just open it in your browser.
    AI Assist analyses your evidence text and automatically detects tags (like medication or personal care), identifies risk flags (like falls or injuries), suggests follow-up actions, and gives a risk level rating. It helps ensure nothing important is missed.
    Carer — can record evidence and view actions. Senior — can also review and approve evidence. Manager/Director — can access compliance data and generate inspection packs. Admin — full access including team management.
    If you have the Admin role, go to "Team Management" in the sidebar. There you can add staff members by entering their email, name, and role. You can also change roles or remove staff from the same page.
    The app shows your online/offline status in the top bar. While offline, some features may not work as data is stored in the cloud. Offline sync is planned for a future update so you can continue working without internet.
